πŸ“Grammar: 2B: Present perfect + for / since, present perfect continuous

We use **have/has + past participle** with **for** (a period of time) or **since** (a point in time) to talk about something that started in the past and is still true now. This is the classic way to describe job tenure or the remuneration you have earned over the years. We ask about unfinished periods with **How long + have/has ...?**. Never use the present simple here β€” "How long do you try" is wrong when the effort to break the glass ceiling is still going on. We use the **present perfect continuous** (**have/has been + verb-ing**) for actions that started in the past and are still happen
