The **present perfect** is **have** or **has** + the **past participle**. Use it for past experiences when you don't say when, like a strange customs check or a long layover.
Also use it for recent actions with a present result, often with **just**, **already**, or **yet**. Our boarding has just started, so the aisle is still empty.
